Dj Xpect has today announced release of the third installment of his ‘Ignition’ mix-tape series. Ignition 3: Electro Vs Percussio is an international mix that blends in hits from the electronic music world with other hits from the percussive world. Nu- Disco, Electro House, Afro- Carib, latin, Hiphop, Disco, Old Skool, e.t.c. are all represented. With some new, some classic, and some specially selected tunes, this is a very eclectic mix of music in which one would have never expected to hear Avicii, Bob Marley, Tupac, and Biggie all in one mix session. The mix is available for free download on Dj Xpect’s Soundcloud page http://soundcloud.com/djxpect/ignition3 . Enjoy!

Been under the radar lately and this is the main reason why…… I have been holed up in my studio creating some sort or Africanized Electronic Dance Music /remixes. This is part of me transforming from the usual Djing to live performance. To give you a better idea, my future sets will include the incorporation of my turntables, mixer, Ableton, Maschine, e.t.c…….for not only turntable work but live production and remixing . Below is a sampler with snippets of different stuff I have been working on in the studio. More coming soon as well as some singles I will be releasing. If the plugin doesn’t show up in your browser, click on this link to listen to it on soundcloud. http://soundcloud.com/djxpect/xpect-afro-electronic-dance Cheers!
